About Our Temple
The Arulmigu Subramaniar Temple in Tebrau, Johor Bahru, holds great significance as a hub for Lord Murugan worship. In the 1960s, Mr. Munian initiated efforts to establish a temple in the Tamil-populated area. Taking personal charge, he began the temple's construction, which was later completed through the collective efforts of temple management and devotees. The inaugural Kumbabishekam ceremony was conducted with grandeur. Over subsequent years, the temple experienced notable growth, emerging as a central point for devotees who actively contributed to its development under the guidance of temple management and Mr. Munian. Currently registered, the temple hosts elaborate rituals and festivals dedicated to Lord Murugan. Events like Thaipusam and Kanda Sashti draw significant crowds, with approximately 2000 devotees seeking the blessings of Lord Murugan.
