About Our Temple
The Arulmigu Senthil Murugan Temple is located in Taman Perling, Johor Bahru. In 1960, Mr. Sashidaran Pillai and his wife, who had been married for over four years, were childless. They began worshipping Lord Murugan by placing His sacred image near their home and performed regular prayers. Subsequently, the couple was blessed with a baby boy. Learning of Lord Murugan’s divine grace, the local community joined the couple in worship over time. Later, Mr. Sashidaran’s family formed a trust to establish the Arulmigu Senthil Murugan Temple. With contributions from the community, the temple was constructed, and its consecration ceremony (Kumbabishegam) was held in 2010. The temple is now officially registered and operates under the management of a trustee committee. All rituals and festivals dedicated to Lord Murugan are celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at this temple.
