About Our Temple
The villagers in Kampung Baru, Masai came together to establish the Sri Bhoomi Amman Temple. During that time, the Chinese community also actively participated in this initiative. In the 1960s, Swami Bhoomi Shakthi Rathinamatha Rathinagiri, who lived in Kampung Baru, joined hands with the devotees and sought permission from the government to build the Durga Amman Temple. Swami Bhoomi Shakthi Rathinamatha Rathinagiri provided healthcare and blessings for the villagers there, addressing various illnesses. Today, the temple serves as an example of collaboration between the Tamil and Chinese communities in Kampung Baru.
