About Our Temple

The important Murugan worship is held at the Arulmigu Aarumugaswamy Temple in Bukit Lagi, Kangar, Perlis, part of the region. In the 1960s, with the intention of building a temple in the area where Tamils ​​live, Mr. Govindasamy and Mr. Ramasamy began the work under their leadership. Accordingly, the temple construction work was independently managed. In 1968, with the help of temple administrators and devotees, the consecration ceremony of the Arulmigu Shri Aarumugaswamy Temple was held, starting with the special Kumbabishekam. Subsequently, in the following days, there was significant growth in the temple, and people continued to be guided by the grace of Murugan. Currently, all Murugan worship and festivals are being conducted with great splendor. The Thai Poosam and Kandha Sashti festivals held here are attended by people who come to receive Murugan's blessings without fail.
