About Our Temple

The Arulmigu Sree Siva Sakthi Karumariamman Temple is situated in Taman Kobena, Kemas, Johor Bahru, with Mr. Naganathan Tangavelu serving as its chairman. The establishment of this temple can be attributed to Mr. Naganathan's late mother, Mrs. Anjali. Mrs. Anjali established the temple in response to her frequent sightings of a cobra (Raja Nagam) near the peepal tree (Arasamaram). Believing that these snakes conveyed a divine message, Mrs. Anjali began offering them milk and eggs. Subsequently, she constructed a small prayer hut near the tree. Over time, the temple has garnered attention from local residents, who visit to engage in prayer. Notably, the temple holds significance in the community due to its proximity to the Aiya temple, situated approximately 500 meters away.
