About Our Temple
Initially, Suresh Kurusamy organized a group of Ayyappa followers who aspired to undertake a pilgrimage to Sabarimala. Suresh Kurusamy himself embarked on pilgrimages to Sabarimala in India. Upon completing the pilgrimage, he felt a strong calling to establish a temple dedicated to Lord Ayyappa, mirroring the sAcred site in Sabarimala. The inspiration to build the Ayyappa temple originated from the profound experiences of devotees, including Suresh Kurusamy, who had witnessed the divine grace of Lord Ayyappa during their visits to Sabarimala. Motivated by the desire to recreate the spiritual ambiance of Sabarimala and guided by Lord Ayyappa, the decision to construct the Ayyappa temple was made. Suresh Kurusamy collaborated with devoted individuals such as Palakrishnan (David Sami), Jyothi Kurusamy, and Prabha Kurusamy to bring this vision to fruition. Despite encountering challenges during the construction process, Suresh Kurusamy initiated the 'Irumudi Kattuthal' ceremony, symbolizing the journey to Sabarimala and expressing unwavering devotion to Lord Ayyappa. This tradition continues to endure, marking a significant milestone in the spiritual journey of Ayyappa devotees.
