About Our Temple
In 1964, Mr. K.S. Balakrishnan and his group dedicated their efforts to constructing this temple. The Johor State Government granted the temple land title in 1971, and a financial contribution was received from the Menteri Besar of Johor at that time. In the 1980s, the temple management decided to undergo renovations. After an 11-year span, the temple was renovated, and the inaugural Maha Kumbhabishegam took place on May 26, 1991. Subsequently, Datuk Sri S. SamiVelu generously donated funds for the construction of a multi-purpose hall within the temple premises, which was completed in 1998. One notable festival celebrated at this temple is the Thaipusam festival.
