About Our Temple
Arulmigu Sri Maha Mariamman Temple was established in 1992 by the Tamils living in Skudai, Johor. During that time, a large tree believed to be endowed with divine power was used to construct the temple. People at that time built a small shrine around this tree and performed worship not only within the temple but also to the tree located outside the temple. With the efforts of the temple administration and devotees, a new temple was successfully constructed in 2018, and a special consecration ceremony (Khumbabishegam) took place. During festivals, devotees from various states came together, expressing their prayers and offerings with great enthusiasm and devotion.
