About Our Temple
In the 1960s, the Arulmigu Sri Veerappathira Kaliamman Temple was established by Mr. Selvaraja with the aim of providing a place of worship for the Tamil community living in the old campus area. After the 1980s, due to space constraints, the temple was relocated to its current site. In the face of insufficient financial resources, a young Mr. Thirumaran, with the help of temple management members, friends, and devotees, made great efforts to move the temple. As a result of their hard work, a new Arulmigu Sri Maha Veerappathira Kaliamman Temple was built and consecrated with a Kumbabishegam ceremony. The temple is now officially registered, and all rituals and festivals are celebrated with great devotion. The Sri Maha Veerappathira Kaliamman Temple has become an important place of worship for the community in the area.
