About Our Temple
In 1939, the Arulmigu Sri Muniswarar Temple was established by the Tamil People living in the estate. Those who worked in the fields considered Muniswaran as their guardian deity and worshipped him by placing a trident in a small temple made of wood. They performed poojas or worship) and sought Lord Muniswarar's guidance. With the efforts of the temple administration and the support of devotees in the following years, a new temple was successfully constructed. Currently, the temple conducts all its ceremonies grandly and special manner after being officially registered. The temple is also known as the Hong Eng Estate Temple, and many devotees pray here for a peaceful life.
