About Our Temple
Constructed in the 1910s by Hindu laborers residing on the Ayer Panas Primary Division rubber plantation, initially owned by the British and later by the Sime Darby Group, this temple has experienced various changes over the years due to a development project taking up its original site. Through the temple's efforts, they secured land along the main road in Jasin, Melaka, and are actively working to acquire nearby land to enhance the temple's facilities. The temple now serves as a focal point for Hindus in the nearby residential areas, many of whom are descendants of families that once lived on the estate. The annual Mariyamma festival is celebrated in May, drawing devotees to the temple. The temple has witnessed a total of 12 Kumbabhishekams, with the most recent one occurring in 2015. Similar to many contemporary temples, gatherings during festivals attract descendants of earlier resident families and their relatives, fostering a sense of community and devotion.

Devotees here believe that childless couples will be blessed with children if they worship Amman and perform puja at this temple. In addition, this temple is called "Peacock Temple" because there are two beautiful peacock statues in it.
Efforts are underway to conduct Devaram and Bharatam classes.
