About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Muthu Mariamman Temple was established during the British colonial period by the Mukim Kulai, Johor industrialists. Due to its proximity to the Public Utility Board (PUB), the temple gained significant popularity among the local residents. In the initial days, a small shrine was constructed with a stone, and rituals were performed, attracting a considerable following. Subsequently, with the efforts of the temple management and the support of devotees, the Sri Maha Muthu Mariamman Temple was officially established. Presently, the temple conducts various ceremonies and rituals with special significance, and all worship activities are carried out in a well-organized and revered manner.
