About Our Temple

Established in 1994 along Batu 17, Jalan Kota Tinggi, Ulu Tiram, JB, this temple was founded by Mr.Pothayya and a group of committee members at the time. Initially situated on the side of Batu 10 JB-Ulu Tiram Road in Ladang Yiew Kong, this century-old temple faced challenges due to its location in a low-lying area prone to floods. However, in 1999, the temple received an official grant of a vast land area measuring 75,000 square meters, surpassing the size of other temples in Johor. Overcoming various issues, the temple underwent significant modifications, particularly elevating the moolastanam. Subsequently, the temple became a focal point for the public, with numerous advancements and enhancements implemented. The local community actively engages in temple-organized activities such as educational seminars, Thevaram classes, Silambam classes, and Bharathanatyam classes.
