About Our Temple
Established in 1932 on a rubber plantation, this temple is recognized as one of the oldest in Johor. Originally built as part of the basic facilities provided to Ulu Tiram Farm workers by the British colonists, the temple was founded by Kauria Mandor. Over the years, with the assistance of residents and devotees, the temple has undergone seven renovations from 1944 to 2018, marked by vibrant Kumbhabishegam celebrations. Officially approved by the Office of the Registrar of Malaysian Societies, the temple actively engages the local community in various activities. These include Thevaram religious classes catering to all age groups, special prayer ceremonies for students facing exams, and the annual prayer ceremony organized by the temple.

During the Aadi Teemithi Tiruvizha ceremony, Goddess Ambal is believed to traverse the entire Ulu Tiram Farm, including the temple premises. Numerous elders claim to have witnessed the divine presence of Dewa Ambal during the ceremony. According to a particular incident, a man who stole from the temple reportedly lost his hand within seven days as a consequence. Subsequently, the individual acknowledged his wrongdoing.
