About Our Temple
"Situated on Bukit Asahan within the expansive rubber plantation owned by the Guthrie group, the Devi Sri Maha Mariamman Temple was constructed by laborers in 1915 near their settlement along the banks of the Asahan River. Subsequently, in 1996, the temple underwent renovations. The estate is currently under the ownership of the Sime Darby Group. This temple is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Amman, Vinayagar, and Murugan. Ongoing efforts are being made to upgrade the temple infrastructure.
