About Our Temple
.Established in 1910, the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple was constructed by laborers employed in the campus garden. During the 1970s, a significant scale-up of palm tree cultivation prompted the relocation of factories to alternative locations. In 2008, the temple was relocated to a small hill near the residential area of farm workers, now occupying 2.5 Acres of land. The temple boasts impressive art paintings and is equipped with a kitchen, dining hall, and toilet facilities. In addition to the worship of Sri Maha Mariamman, this temple reveres Goddess Kaliamman and Anjaneyar. The annual festival is celebrated on Mother's Day, featuring rituals such as the morning procession with milk pots and kavadi, and an evening chariot procession of the goddess.
