About Our Temple
In the village of Paya Buluh, Hindu families with a longstanding presence took the initiative to construct a temple in 1990, even though there was none initially. This endeavor led to the formation of a management committee, and by 2011, the temple obtained official registration under the Malaysian Hindu Sangam. Despite its modest size, the temple has become a central hub for daily worship, hosting regular poojas every evening. While significant festivals were not traditionally observed at the temple until now, it functions as a spiritual focal point for Tamil families residing in the village's traditional houses. The temple has played a vital role in fostering religious identity and community cohesion among the Tamil families in Paya Buluh. Currently, with the backing of the villagers and contributions from generous individuals, new developments and construction activities are in progress at the temple, contributing to its growth and enhancement.
