About Our Temple
Established in 1893, this temple stands as one of the oldest in Negeri Sembilan. Mr. R. M. P. L. Muthiah Chettiar, a member of the Nattukottai Chettiar Association in Seremban, is credited as the founder. Initially, with the support of the local community, he erected a small temple using red brick, cement, and a Chinese tile roof. The temple conducted its inaugural Kumbhabishegam in 1895. In 2000, the temple faced complete destruction, but it was subsequently reconstructed in 2004, thanks to public donations and government assistance. Additionally, a multipurpose hall was built adjacent to the temple for various community religious activities. The temple reportedly underwent renovations and hosted a grand Kumbhabishegam celebration in 2019.
