About Our Temple

In the 1970s, the Tamil community living in the Sendayan Felda Settlement came together with the aim of establishing a temple in their neighborhood. Initially, worship took place under a tree, in a makeshift temple. Later, a formal request was made to the government, and a dedicated plot of land was allocated for the temple. In 1977, construction work for the temple began. After several attempts, under the leadership of Mr. Govindan, with the support of the temple administration, devotees, and generous individuals, a new temple was built. The consecration ceremony (Kumbabhishekam) of the new temple was held with grandeur in 1987. The temple now serves as the main place of worship for the people living in the area.
