About Our Temple
Established in 1928, this temple has a longstanding history, with the local inhabitants around the Sungai Gadut farm area venerating the statue of Lord Muniswarar. Initially, residents placed the deity's statue beneath a large tree, considering it a makeshift temple, where they diligently performed pooja. After several years, Mr. Krishnan Nair took the initiative to construct a dedicated temple for the statue of Lord Muniswarar. Successfully completing the construction, Mr. Krishnan's family members assumed the responsibility of managing and caring for the temple. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in officially registering the temple with the Malaysian Hindu Sangam.
