About Our Temple
The Paradise Kota Belud Sivan Temple was built in the 1950s by the Gurkha soldiers who lived in this area. In the early days, the Gurkha soldiers installed and worshipped a Shivalingam and three deity statues for their protection and worship. In later years, the military personnel who arrived and the Tamil people living in the Kota Belud area came together to fully renovate and maintain the Sivan temple. Currently, the temple is properly registered, and all Shiva poojas are being conducted excellently.
