About Our Temple
In 1980, the Sri Uthira Kaliyamman Alayam was built in Kangkar Pulai, Johor Bahru. The Tamil community in the area, driven by profound devotion, founded this temple and initiated worship of Goddess Kaliyamman as their protective deity. While specific historical details from this time are scarce, the temple is presently under the diligent management of its administration. It hosts regular rituals, poojas, and festivals, all conducted with deep reverence and unwavering devotion.
