About Our Temple

Devi Sri Bhumikaliyamman Temple is located in Kampar, Ayar Kuning, Perak. In 1967, Tamil agricultural workers were employed on government land at Thay Seng Plantation for agricultural and livestock purposes. At that time, there was no temple for the Tamil workers to worship. As a result, the family of the late Mr. Duraisamy built a small hut and established the Bhumikaliyamman Temple. Later, with the help of the temple management and devotees, the temple was officially registered and has been operating successfully. The local community continues to work together to maintain the temple. Today, all rituals and festivals are conducted with great devotion, and the temple remains an important place of worship for the People in the area.
