About Our Temple
Deva Arulmigu Maha Mariamman Temple is located in Tapah, Perak. This temple was established in the 1920s by the Telugu community. In the Telugu tradition, Goddess Mariamman, known as the deity who protects from diseases and misfortune, is worshipped as a central figure. Years after the temple was built, in 1993, the idol of the goddess was found to be damaged. Consequently, the idol was placed in the sea. The devotees then decided to reinstall a new idol of Mariamman for worship. Following this, the temple was consecrated with the new idol and was named *Deva Arulmigu Maha Mariamman Temple. Today, the temple is officially registered, and all rituals and festivals are conducted with devotion.
