About Our Temple
Sri Maha Mariamman Temple is located in Kampar, Perak. The temple was established in 1970 by Mr. Muniandy. The rural community worshipped Goddess Maha Mariamman as their guardian deity for protection and spiritual well-being. In 1997, the temple had to be relocated as it was on government-owned land. The new location was also later earmarked for urban development projects. Subsequently, the current site was officially allocated to the temple. Through the efforts of the temple management, devotees, and contributions from generous individuals, a new temple was constructed. The *Kumbabhishekam* (consecration ceremony) of the new temple was grandly performed in 2012. Today, the temple is officially registered and prayers are offered daily.
