About Our Temple

The temple can be found in Kuala Selangor at Ladang Braunstan Jeram. Approximately in 1945, the Braunstan estate labourers began construction on this shrine. Originally, this temple was just a little hut made of planks with a zinc roof. The statue of Amman is installed by estate workers, who also perform daily prayers. The Barisan Nasional government and public donations helped to construct a modestly sized temple made of cement in 1985. A member of the temple committee named Mr. Subramaniam Perumal (PJK) also contributed to the temple's construction. The temple was constructed in 1990, and the first Kumbabishegam was held that year as well. The second Kumbabishegam was held in 2003, and the most recent one was held in 2015.Now the temple is duly registered and functioning well.
