About Our Temple
Located in Batang Berjuntai, Kuala Selangor, the Sri Subramaniam Temple is believed to have been established around 1950 by the local community. Driven by the need for a place of worship, the residents constructed a small shrine made of wooden planks and a zinc roof. Inside the shrine, a spear (Vel) was placed, symbolizing the worship of Lord Murugan by the locals. In recent times, the new temple management collaborated to construct a more durable stone building for the temple, funded through public donations. The temple is officially registered, and its annual festival is Vaikasi Thiruvilla The temple continues to draw numerous devotees, especially during the annual festival.
