About Our Temple
In the 1970s, the Sri Thirumurugan Temple was built by the Tamil community living in the area. It was constructed with the intention of providing a place of worship for the Tamil people residing in the region. Under the leadership of Mr. Arumainayagam and with the support of the temple administrators and devotees, the temple was established in 1973. Currently, the temple is formally registered, and all rituals and festivals are conducted in a grand manner. It has become a significant place of worship for the Tamil community in the area. The Thai Poosam festival is celebrated as an annual grand event at the Thirumurugan Temple. Additionally, special prayers and religious classes are held every Friday at the temple.
