About Our Temple
Approximately ninety years ago, the Tamil residents of the Sime Darby estate region worshipped Mariamman, their guardian deity, armed with a trident. During this time, a small temple was constructed by foremen Mr. Arumugam, foreman Mr. Adimoolam, and their followers for the purpose of worship. Ambal serves as the Moolasthanam (main deity) of this temple. In 1980, the temple underwent a significant renovation, and under the leadership of Datuk Padmanathan, the inaugural Kumbabhishekam ceremony was conducted. During this period, a high-quality pooja was performed, and a dedicated worship area (sannathi) for Ganesha and Murugan was also constructed.
