About Our Temple
In 1915, the Tamil community living in Kampung Arab, Port Dickson, worshipped a guardian deity by placing a trident under a banyan tree. In later years, Mr. Arumugam, while fishing in the sea, found a goddess idol caught in his net. He brought the idol to the banyan tree and constructed a small temple around it. The Tamil residents of the area, experiencing the blessings of the goddess, began regular worship. The current temple administration has now officially registered the temple and built a small structure for the deity. All regular rituals and festivals are conducted here with devotion and grandeur.
