Sri Anggala Parameswary Peachiamman Temple

Persatuan Penganut Kuil Sri Anggala Parameswary Peachiamman

About Our Temple

Approximately a hundred years ago, the Sri Angala Parameswary Amman Temple was established in the village of Maniyanoor, located in Tamil Nadu's Salem district. Mr. Marimuthu Mudaliar and his wife, Mrs. Karuppayee, who were first-generation devotees, dedicated themselves to the maintenance of this temple in Maniyanoor. Upon relocating to Malaysia, this family initially worshipped the deity in their own home but later began worshipping Goddess Amman at the current temple location, following the request of Sri Angala Parameswary Amman. The Goddess manifested in the form of a mound hill (manputru) due to her divine power. In accordance with the guidance of Mrs. Karuppayee and their relatives, they revere the hill's shape, which mirrors the statue of Sri Peachiamman found in Maniyanoor.
