About Our Temple
In 1900, this temple was built at Ladang Tampin Linggi. Mr. Katteri Kanggani established this temple in the form of a little hut, and he began worshipping using a black stone (Karunggal). The stone was taken by Mr. Murugan, an insane person, in 1966, and he flung it into a nearby black pond. Following the discovery of the stone, the locals chose to install it in the now-used black pool area, which is home to the temple. Arumugam, Krishna Foreman, and Ponnusamy worked together in 1975 to construct a modest cement temple. Later, the temple was enlarged in 1982, the year of the first Kumbhabishegam. Additionally, Mr. Nadeson, Mr. Chandran, and Mr. Maran have collaborated closely to complete the task of enhancing the temple. The people in the neighbourhood and the general public now think highly of this temple.
