About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Madurai Veeran Kuyilvaganan Temple is believed to have been built about 150 years ago. Tamil workers in the oil palm estate worshipped Sri Madurai Veeran as their guardian deity under a tree. In the 1960s, Mr. Panneer Selvam, Mr. Raja, and other devotees gathered to clean the area, and they built a small hut for worship. Later, the temple administration, with donations from the devotees, constructed a new temple under the name Sri Maha Madurai Veeran Kuyilvaganan Temple. Currently, the temple has been officially registered and is well-maintained. All regular rituals and festivals are celebrated here with devotion.
