About Our Temple
In 1945, the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple was established by the residents of Ladang Guntong. This temple was built in the Guntong estate for the safety and well-being of the residents living there. Initially, the temple started as a small shrine and became popular among the residents of the Guntong estate within two years. Subsequently, with the efforts of the temple management and devotees, the entire temple was renovated and underwent a grand Pangguni Utiram Thiruvilla ceremony. Currently, the temple is registered, and all worship activities and festivals are conducted with great reverence and grandeur.
