About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Muthu Mariamman Devasthanam is situated in Bedong, Kedah, and its construction dates back to 1902. This historical timeline is evident from a grave built in 1927 within the estate's farm area. Initially, the statue of Goddess Amman was placed in the Muniswaran Temple, also located in the estate's farm area. After a few years, the estate residents collectively decided to construct a new and dedicated temple for Goddess Amman. The completion of this temple to perfection occurred in 2013, coinciding with the inaugural Kumbabisyegam ceremony held at the same time.
