About Our Temple
The Sri Maha Siva Raja Kaliamman Temple, located in Jeram, Kuala Selangor, has a history spanning nearly 50 years. Originally constructed by Indian laborers working along the pond, the early worship practices at the temple involved the use of a trident (Soolam). Over time, the temple gained popularity among Indian devotees seeking a place for worship. Approximately the present temple structure was fully established under the guidance of the temple leader. During that period, the Aadi Thiruvila festival was celebrated with representations of the trident and the Goddess Kaliyamman. In 2005, an idol of Amman was installed, and a grand Kumbabishekam ceremony was conducted. Under the current management, the annual Aadi festival continues to be observed, culminating in Thimithi rituals and a chariot procession.
