About Our Temple
Monmouth Mariamman Temple, located in Ladang Monmouth, Kuala Selangor, was built in 1960 by Mr. Nadesan, who served as the temple's representative chairman. The foundation stone for the temple was laid by Tun V.T. Sambanthan during its construction. In 1984, a Kumbabisyegam ceremony marked the completion of the temple. In 2016, Dr. Kumarasamy assumed the role of the temple's chairman and spearheaded the initiative to upgrade its construction. To ensure the construction meets the highest standards, many visitors to the temple contribute donations. The temple has been officially registered.
