About Our Temple
Situated in Batang Berjuntai, Selangor, the Sri Mahamariamman Tenamaram Temple has a history spanning over 150 years. Originally constructed by estate workers in the Sangili Farm Estate as a modest structure, the temple underwent extensive expansion and renovation in the early 1980s, emerging as a more substantial and prominent edifice. Initially dedicated to prayer, the temple has since evolved to become a community hub, offering various social services and adapting in its management and operations to better serve the community.
