About Our Temple
During the Japanese occupation, Anggala Amman Hindus from Merbau Bukit Ijok constructed this temple. Although the exact year of the temple's founding is unknown, it is believed to have been founded approximately 150 years ago. After it was built, the local community—which includes the multiethnic Malays and Chinese—took over the temple's upkeep and care. Furthermore known as "Elai Kovil," this temple is situated near Bukit Gajah Farm.
