About Our Temple
The Sri Raja Kaliamman Temple in Batang Berjuntai, Selangor, is thought to have been established around 1960 by Tamil estate workers from the farm. In need of a place for worship, they constructed a small shrine using wooden planks and a zinc roof, housing a portrait of Goddess Kaliamman. The deity is believed to be their protective guardian, shielding them from various troubles. Over time, with contributions gathered from devotees, the temple has evolved into a small concrete building. The annual celebration of Aadi Thruvilla is observed with grandeur at the temple.
