About Our Temple
Located in Tapah Road, Perak, the Sri Sithala Maha Mariamman Temple is thought to have been founded in the 1950s by Mr. Ramalingam Paramjothy and the surrounding local community. Initially, the temple was a modest structure with a small hut constructed with wooden planks and a zinc roof. Devotees worshipped Goddess Mariamman, believing in her ability to resolve their problems which draws many local followers to the temple. Presently, the temple is officially registered, and it observes Maasi Magam as its annual festival.
