About Our Temple
Sri Dhandayuthapani Temple may have been established around 100 years ago. The temple is believed to have been built through the efforts of Mr. Ramanujam. However, there are no exact historical records regarding the temple's origin. Originally, the temple stood as a small hut made of wooden planks. In 1975, Mr. Murugan officially registered the temple and built a small structure. The temple management that came after him fully renovated and upgraded the temple. The Panguni Uthiram festival and Soorasamharam celebrated here are especially significant. A large number of devotees participate during these festival periods.
