About Our Temple
The Subramaniar Temple was founded by estate agricultural labourers approximately sixty years ago in order to promote harmony and safety among the locals in the Bukit Belimbing area. Before they leave for work each day, the estate workers will perform a prayer service. After a while, the villagers raised money to expand the temple. Large-scale Thaipusam and Chittirai Thiruvizla rituals are also held at the temple annually. There are currently just eight temples in Dun Permatang, with this one being the only Subramaniam temple.
