About Our Temple
Originally the Sri Subramaniar Temple in Batang Berjuntai, Kuala Selangor established as a small shrine in 1960's. It had a wooden structure ans situated in Kampung Berjuntai Bestari.Thiruchendoor Murugan serves as the primary deity of this temple. In 1970, Mr. Veeran and his colleague collaborated to expand the temple with support from a mining manager and a contractor. The committee, consisting of a few members, initiated the collection of donations for the Kumbhabishegam ceremony, and the inaugural Kumbhabishegam took place in August 1972. As of 2014 until the present year, 2023, the temple has been overseen and managed by President Mr. Visvalinggam.
