About Our Temple
The Sri Valli Dewasena Sametha Senthi Vel Murugan Temple is situated in Chenderiang Lama, Tapah, Perak, and is believed to have been established in 1990 by the local community. Initially, the temple was constructed on a small scale as a small hut, where a Vel (sAcred spear) was placed, and worship to Lord Murugan took place. After several years, the community collaborated to build a well-structured stone temple. Presently, the temple continues to conduct all poojas and prayers, drawing numerous devotees, particularly during the Vaikasi festival. It is important to note that this temple is officially registered.
