About Our Temple
In 1905, laborers from the Semenyih rubber plantation established a small temple beneath a peepal tree, naming it the Karumariamman Temple. This temple holds great significance, serving as a historical marker for the Tamil community in the Semenyih region. Subsequently, a designated plot of land was assigned to the temple, and construction commenced through the dedicated efforts of Mr. Chinnachami and Mr. Subramaniam Mandor. The temple's construction concluded in 1977, culminating in the inaugural Kumbabhishekam ceremony. Official registration and maintenance of the temple were undertaken in 2001. Post-2010, the temple's administration transitioned to the younger generation, who, with their innovative and energetic endeavors, continue to uphold the temple's unique traditions and operations to this day.
