About Our Temple
This is an eighty-year-old temple. This shrine is situated in Kajang, within a sizable rubber plantation. During the British occupation, there were 300 Indians living in this area. The Amman statue that was in use back then is still in use now. This temple was originally constructed in 1940 out of wood. In 1960, the inaugural Kumbabisyegam took place in a bigger, cemented structure. There is only one snake mound (Paambu Puthu), Muniswarar Sannithi, and Karbagiraha in this temple. The second Kumbabhishyegam took place in 1993. Statues of deities like Vinagayar, Subramiaar, and Navagraham were added during that period. Mr. Mayilvaganam is the chairman, overseeing all aspects of the temple's operation. On April 13, 2014, the third Kumbabisyegam took place. In accordance with all Hindu religious laws, a koburam made of granite stones was constructed for each and every Sannithi present in the temple during the Maha Kumbabisyegam.
