About Our Temple
The Siva Subramaniar Temple in Semenyih, Selangor, was initially built in a confined space in 1966 on estate land. In 1974, the temple was relocated to Semenyih city, where it underwent a name change and received a cash allocation from the government. Subsequently, the temple underwent expansion, and in the same year, it hosted its inaugural Kumbabhishegam, attended by Tun Sambathan to mark the occasion. In 1994, the temple held its second kumbabhishegam.

This temple stands out due to its distinctive feature of housing two statues of Lord Bhairava, each mounted on a separate vehicle (vaganam). This unique representation of Lord Bhairava with two distinct vaganams is exclusive to this temple in Asia, and it has a rich history associated with these particular depictions of Lord Bhairava.
