About Our Temple
In the 1930s, Tamil people living in the Kajang area worshiped Lord Muniswaran as their protective deity in their residential area. In the early days, they offered prayers by placing a trident (Soolam) and lighting a lamp. Later, the J.K.R. (Public Works Department) employees renovated the temple and transformed it into a small temple. Over time, as part of the city's development plans, the temple was relocated to its current location. The current temple administration has officially registered the temple and set up a small temple where prayers and worship are regularly conducted. During the festival in August, numerous devotees participate, offering prayers and performing rituals, including the traditional "Kida Vetti" (a ceremonial offering) to Lord Muniswaran as part of their devotional service.
