About Our Temple
Approximately 140 years ago, the rubber plantation laborers at Dominion Estate constructed and revered the Maha Mariamman temple as the protective deity of their locality. In its early stages, the workers erected modest Muneeswaran and Mariamman temples using only wooden planks. Nevertheless, the temple grounds still belong to the estate administration. Thanks to the unwavering dedication of Mr. Muniyappan and Mr. Rajasekhar, who assumed leadership of the temple administration from 2005 to 2008, the temple structure was completed, and a Kumbabishekam ceremony took place in 2010. Despite facing economic challenges, the temple was officially registered in 2016 and has been operating smoothly since then. A plea has been made to the government for one acre of land for the temple, and preparations for this allocation are currently in progress.
